Andy Webb began his career in construction in 1974, building a cottage while studying at the Ontario College of Art. A graduate of OCAD’s interdisciplinary fine-arts program with a specialization in woodworking, he remained in construction throughout his studies, completing his apprenticeship as a carpenter and founding his own company in 1982.
His personal appreciation for design and his relaxed approach to problem solving led to work on several architects’ homes and offices. He joined with Chris Lashbrook in 2004 to expand the company’s capacity and build upon the construction expertise established in collaboration with some of the city’s top designers and architects.
Within the company, Andy is responsible for the more hands-on aspects of site management and project execution, as well as quality, technical insight, on-site problem solving, trade relations, and on-site coordination.
